At the playground with Anneliese

What a fun shoot! Little Anneliese just turned 3 the weekend before our session and this gal knows what she wants-or doesn't want to do :) She was super cute! Mom and Dad did a great job of keeping her and Alice the dog happy. Having fun is what makes portraits work.(even if the photographer has to act a little silly and put pinecones on her head to get the shot) These were taken at the Mercer playground in April. Thanks Jodi, Eric, Anneliese & Alice-

Special Maternity Portrait Session

This was really a blessing for me to do this session. Linzi is due in a few weeks with baby Nora. We have been friends since we were 14, so when she gave me the "ok" to do her portraits- I was so excited! The very first official portraits I ever did were for her and her hubby's engagement. Little baby Nora will be welcomed into the world with so much love. Linzi's step daughter is such a sweetie too-- growing up so fast. Where did the time go!

The portraits were done at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio.

How 'Bout Them Cowboys

Well, the Cowboys didn't make the Super Bowl, but our little cowboy won me over! This is my oldest son Travis. He'll be 5 in February and loves to dress up like a man.

We had a fun time shooting and he had a good time posing :) and that in a nutshell is what Sarah's Studio is all about. Having fun and getting the great potraits without the hassles. My family is my greatest source of inspiration. ((big hugs)) from Mommy to Travis!

Little Ms. Brantleigh

2 1/2 year old Brantleigh was my first session since the new year. Our focus was portraits for Valentine's Day cards, so I brought along a heart-shaped box of candy and some artifical roses for her to hold. She was a cutie! She took direction so well and had a great personality. Thanks to her mom & dad for bringing her out. It was fun!
